Community First Champion Center Fox Cities, one of the newest, premium sports tourism venues in the nation, has hired a Business Development and Events Manager, Matt Schoultz (pronounced Sch-ulz).
Schoultz has been involved with youth sports for 25 years. Most recently, he served as the head volleyball coach at Lawrence University for the past 13 years. He also served on the NCAA Division III Women’s National Volleyball Committee for four years, was the chair of the National Committee for two years and was the Midwest Conference Volleyball Coaches’ Chair. Schoultz’s extensive experience also includes working at and managing an indoor sports facility and leading youth volleyball organizations.
Ken Weinaug, General Manager of the Community First Champion Center looks forward to Schoultz joining the team. “Matt’s background and experience in the area volleyball circuit makes him an incredibly valuable asset to our team and the Champion Center. We look forward to using Matt’s experience to ensure we
provide the best customer experience in all of our events for many years to come.”
Schoultz will work for Sports Facilities Management, the sports tourism and recreation management firm headquartered in Clearwater, FL, that will manage the Champion Center. As Business Development and Events Manager, Schoultz will focus on bringing high quality sports tournaments and other events to the
Champion Center. He will also be responsible for planning and executing internal programming such as camps and leagues in a variety of sports.

Matt resides in Hortonville and has two sons, Terry (12) and Michael (8).
