Culver’s of Darboy and Culver's of Little Chute Partners with Local Police Departments to Make a Difference

Published Wednesday, October 10, 2018

Since opening the doors of the first restaurant in 1984, Culver’s® has been committed to being an active member in its local community. On October 2nd, Culver’s of Appleton and Culver's of Little Chute carried on that tradition by hosting "Custard With a Cop".  Police officers from Appleton Police Department and Fox Valley Metro were at both restaurants for a meet and greet with community members.  Guests of the restaurants were able to explore squad cars, talk with the officers and meet McGruff.  Proceeds from the sales of $1.00 single dishes of custard are going to be donated to the participating police departments for their use in community outreach.

"We’re proud to call the Fox Valley home and doing our part to help just feels right," said Glenda Woosley and Maggie Kauer. "We strive to make a difference in the community we share with so many others, and working with the local Police Departments allows us to help support individuals and families in our area."

Culver’s support of the local Police Departments is just part of their dedication to giving back to the community. From Culver’s founders to each locally owned and operated restaurant, each franchise partner and team member understands the importance of serving those in need.
