Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction recently completed nearly 6,000 square feet of renovations at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School in Green Bay to support the introduction of their new 3K program.
The initial phase of a long-term expansion plan, the renovations also included bathroom improvements as well as remodeling of the 4K classroom, the after-school care room and the Fellowship Hall. An underutilized stage was also converted into a storage room.
“Hoffman was honored to serve the members of St. Paul Lutheran with the expansion of the 3K classroom and other renovations to the lower level,” said Todd Dvorak, project architect for Hoffman. “The improvements will enhance their after-school care program and fellowship opportunities such as Bible class. This was the initial phase to a plan that includes adding an administrative wing and narthex to the west side of the building.”
The lower level renovations, the upcoming administrative wing and narthex, and the earlier renovation of the church’s sanctuary are part of St. Paul’s Today, Tomorrow and the Future plan to support and encourage the proclamation of the gospel through the design and function of the church and school.
"The people of St. Paul are committed to sharing the love of Jesus with the people of our community,” said Pastor Jon Zabell of St. Paul Lutheran Church. “We are confident that this most recent renovation will enable us to offer more and better resources for everyone, including young children and their parents."
The congregation will celebrate completion of the lower level project on Sunday, September 16, at 11:45 a.m., in the newly renovated fellowship hall. A light lunch will be served. The community is invited to attend. St. Paul Lutheran Church & School is located at 514 S. Clay Street.
