The Fox Cities Regional Partnership, the economic development division of the Fox Cities Chamber, has launched a comprehensive Fox Cities Benefit Survey for local employers to stay competitive in the marketplace and make the Fox Cities more competitive as a region. To encourage mass participation in the extensive survey, organizations who complete the online survey by August 31 will receive a digital copy of the survey’s results by November 1.
A recent survey by Aflac reported that “58% of employees say they’re at least somewhat likely to take a job with slightly lower pay but a more robust benefits package.” A full package offered including wages, benefits and culture, is what influences employees to pursue new opportunities. The goal of the survey is to gauge the competitiveness of currently offered benefit packages and inspire employers to brainstorm ways to increase employee satisfaction. A thoughtful package can increase productivity, attract top talent and reduce turnover.
Additional links and resources are available at foxcitiesregion.com, including salary information for occupations. This data is collected by the U.S. Government and is able to be broken down by state and county.
The Employer Benefits Survey is brought to you by the Fox Cities Regional Partnership of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with United Way Fox Cities, Child Care Resource Referral, Inc. and Community Early Learning Center (CELC). Access to the survey is available online now through August 31 at http://www.foxcitiesregion.com/benefit-survey/.
An executive summary of the survey results will be reported on October 18, 2018 from 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group. A keynote speaker will also address attendees on family-friendly workplace policies. General admission is $10. Registration is available at foxcitieschamber.com.
