TSA Precheck is an expedited screening program that enables enrolled travelers to go through a more efficient screening experience when traveling. TSA Precheck members do not need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts when using a TSA Precheck lane.
"TSA Precheck improves the airport customer experience not only at ATW, but all over the U.S.," said Abe Weber, airport director. "Our enrollment event allows travelers to complete the interview portion of their application right here in Appleton."
TSA Precheck-enrolled travelers can use the Precheck lane at more than 200 airports and 53 airlines nationwide.
Travelers are encouraged to sign up for a short appointment at TSA.gov, but walk-in appointments are also available. After completing the online application, travelers will need to bring proof of identity and U.S. citizenship documentation to the appointment..
Free parking will be available in the short-term lot for visiting the enrollment center. The center is located in the airport conference room. Applicants do not need to be a ticketed passenger to access it.
There is an $85 fee, which covers a five-year membership, that is payable at the enrollment center.
