The annual Oshkosh Area Employment and Resource Fair will take place 1-4 pm on Tuesday, May 8, at the Menominee Nation Arena, 1212 S. Main Street, Oshkosh. The event currently has more than 80 employers registered and trying to fill a variety of roles, including full-time, part-time, seasonal and apprenticeships. Some employers will offer on-site interviews, while technical colleges and local job service partners will have information about training opportunities and job search assistance.
“With unemployment at record levels, it’s truly a job-seeker’s market out there,” said Anthony Snyder, CEO of the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board. “If you’re unemployed, underemployed or just unhappily employed, this job expo is a great way to find your next role or make a strong connection with one of our region’s top companies.”
No pre-registration for the job fair is required. More information can be found on the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board’s web site at www.fvwdb.com. The Board also continues to accept employer registrations until the exhibit hall is filled to capacity. 2
