C. Coakley Relocation Systems of West Allis, Wisconsin, closed on its purchase of the former Graphic Packaging plant at 160 Washington Street in Menasha today. C. Coakley is a residential and commercial relocation company that also owns and operates more than 2.3 million square feet of industrial warehouse space throughout eastern Wisconsin.
“We have been working in the Fox Valley for years, but this was a great opportunity to have a strong physical presence and be more accessible to our present and future customers,” said Chris Coakley, company president. “We also look forward to hiring local people to work as part of our Menasha operations team.” Eight other C. Coakley logistics hubs are located in Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Madison, Port Washington, Kewaskum, and West Allis.
A well-established commercial and residential mover in southeast Wisconsin, C. Coakley also manages and implements complex commercial relocation projects including hospitals, clinics, office complexes, academic institutions, libraries, and hotels. The company’s warehousing and assembly teams offer furniture and fixture assembly and equipment installation (FF&E) for large relocation, remodeling, and new construction projects. Recent projects in the Fox Valley include the relocation of Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology to their new clinic in 2015 and several recent moves for Plexus, among many others.
C. Coakley’s new Menasha location will feature more than 477,000 square feet of state-of-the-art food-grade warehouse space and logistics support. The company also seeks to separately lease 24,000 square feet of office space located on the riverside property. With plans to take immediate occupancy, Coakley said he expects to hire 25-30 full time employees in Menasha, including warehousing staff, logistics personnel, straight truck drivers, project managers, forklift drivers, sales personnel, and operations and sales managers.
