American Airlines will increase service from Appleton International Airport to Chicago O'Hare International Airport with a third daily flight starting May 4, 2018.
American Airlines is also increasing the aircraft size for two of the daily flights to CRJ-700 regional jets, which seat 70 people.
"We're thrilled to see American increasing service to our community with more flights and larger aircraft," said Abe Weber, airport director. "Community response has been extremely strong, and our frequent flyers are excited to see larger planes with first-class seating. When you fly frequently for work, anything that can make the regular commute more comfortable is important."
