Enerfab, one of the nation’s leaders in providing fabrication, construction and maintenance services to the heavy industrial and utility markets, has announced the launch of its Enerfab Great Lakes Region in conjunction with the rebranding of its subsidiary Enerpipe, an industry leader in pipe fabrication located in New London, Wisconsin. These changes reflect a larger corporate-led effort focusing on the company’s ability to seamlessly provide all Enerfab’s services across all its regions via a customer-centric growth strategy.
Enerfab also announced the promotion of Greg DeValk to executive vice president of the newly created Enerfab Great Lakes Region. DeValk joined Enerfab’s Pipe Fabrication business in 1994, following a nine-year career working in the mechanical contracting field. Under his direction, Enerpipe grew to be one of Enerfab’s most successful business units. DeValk served as COO, president and CEO during his tenure.
“The entire Enerpipe team is extremely excited about this strategic move, and we believe that the power of one Enerfab brand will prove significantly valuable to our customers and is an essential component of our long-term growth strategy,” said DeValk. “While honoring the Enerfab mission as well as Enerpipe’s legacy of providing the highest quality pipe fabrication products on the market, we will be looking for opportunities to grow our core pipe fabrication business throughout North America as well as expanding Enerfab’s full capabilities to the Great Lakes Region.”
Acquired by Enerfab in 2007, Enerpipe was founded as a pipe fabrication company servicing a wide variety of industrial markets. The Enerfab Great Lakes Region will continue to offer these services while adding all Enerfab’s capabilities to its client offerings.
“We operate in a rapidly changing marketplace, and Enerfab’s future depends on our ability to stay ahead of those changes,” said Enerfab CEO Scott Anderson. “We must expand our presence in new growth markets and, ultimately, it all comes down to delivering excellence to our customers every day.
“Combining Enerpipe’s talents and resources with Enerfab’s complementary core capabilities in fabrication, construction and maintenance, allows us to expand our service offerings. This is an exciting time for Enerfab, and Greg has both the expertise and credentials to lead the effort successfully.”
Since 1901, Enerfab’s mission is to be the safest and most trusted source for fabrication, construction and maintenance needs, providing capital equipment, construction management, maintenance services and technology solutions to the energy industry and other industrial markets across the United States. Enerfab has been recognized as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the Midwest, employing approximately 4,000 people and operating four regional offices.
