Local Thrivent Financial members join the global #GivingTuesday movement

East Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Region Thrivent Member Network pledges to match qualifying personal donations up to $10,000 made to St. Vincent de Paul Appleton on #GivingTuesday.

Thrivent’s #LiveGenerously events on #GivingTuesday, will focus on serving local food, clothing, and shelter needs. Special activities will take place in select communities throughout Thrivent’s East Wisconsin and UP Michigan region.

  • 30% off all store merchandise
  • 9AM - 11AM, Coffee and bakery, free will donation
  • 11AM- 6PM, Pizza, soda and water, free will donation

  • 4PM - 6PM, Pizza, beer and wine, free will donation
  • Raffle to win 4 Rock USA 2018 VIP Admission Passes, value of $1,796
  • Fill the truck with hurricane relief supplies - bottled water, buckets, plastic gloves, bar soap and shampoo

Thrivent will match qualifying personal donations made online via this Donation Link or onsite, up to $10,000 or 11:59 p.m., whichever comes first. #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 28, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the US) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
