The Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau has awarded a Tourism Development Grant in the amount of $50,000 to The Building for Kids Children's Museum for their Innovation Lab.
“Awarding this grant to the Building for Kids Children’s Museum will assist them in engaging the minds of kids both now and in the future,” commented Chris Haese, chair of the Bureau’s Tourism Development Grants Committee. Haese continued by saying, “The hands-on STEM experience will create hours of fun and education for visitors and locals alike.”
The Building for Kids Children’s Museum is one of the signature attractions for visitors to the Fox Cities area. The Museum provides hours of entertainment and learning for families who visit our area.
"The Fox Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau has been a fantastic partner over the years, commented Jarrad Bittner, Executive Director at the Building for Kids. Bittner continued by saying, “Not only has the CVB helped us grow and bring unique and exciting exhibits to the community, like the Innovation Lab, but they have also helped us expand our reach outside of the community.”
The new Innovation Lab will help propel the Museum into the future of learning and assisting in their mission of empowering children, engaging parents and energizing the community.
