Every year, the Fox Cities Mid-Day Women’s Alliance (MDWA) conducts a search for a very special woman who stands out as a shining example to all women in the Fox Cities area. She is the woman who has made a difference in the lives of others, especially women and families, and has given back to our community and made it a better place to live and work.  This is the Woman of Distinction, the woman we will honor at a special MDWA awards ceremony at The Grand Meridian in Appleton, from 11:30 to 1PM on November 15th. This is the twelfth year that MDWA has honored a local woman with this prestigious award.

The awards ceremony will feature a panel entitled:  Profiles of Successful Women, during which you will hear from our five distinguished nominees:

Barbara Bigalke, Executive Director – Center for Suicide Awareness

Becky Boulanger, Executive Director – The Women’s Fund of the Fox Valley Region

Marcia Erdman, Manager Residential Sales – First American Title

Mary Parsons, Executive Director - LEAVEN

Elder M. Williams, Executive Director – B.A.B.E.S., Inc. Child Abuse Prevention Program

The event culminates in a short ceremony announcing the 2017 Woman of Distinction, and she will offer her remarks.

Please join us as we honor and celebrate this special woman. Register for the event at  www.MidDayWomen.org. (Events, Monthly Meetings) Guests are always welcome!
