Keller Williams Fox Cities associates choose to “Give Where They Live” as part of RED Day, Keller Williams annual day of service to be held on Thursday, May 11, dedicated to renewing, energizing and donating to local communities.
As part of the RED Day effort, Keller Williams Fox Cities will spend the day at Heckrodt Wetland Reserve on Plank Rd in Menasha. Keller Williams agents will spend the day at the nature center grooming trails, cutting back overgrowth and doing general spring clean up to help get the nature preserve ready for visitors this spring.
Each year the Keller Williams Fox Cities office seeks to provide community service to different communities around the Fox Cities. In the past, they have served those in need in Appleton and Little Chute. This year, Menasha was chosen.
“RED Day is built on the belief that people can and should come together to achieve extraordinary things to help others," said Dina Mitchell, Team Leader, Keller Williams Fox Cities. “This year, we will be assisting the Heckrodt staff in preparing the Wetland Reserve for the enjoyment of the many visitors that come each year.”
“RED Day just happens to be a one-day expression of the constant state of the Keller Williams culture. We see a need, discover who can meet it and get it done,” said Mitchell.
Since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams associates have given hundreds of thousands of hours of community service through activities ranging from food and blood drives to rebuilding homes and schools for community members in need.
Rick DeMario - BMO Harris Bank, Andrew Horan - Closing and Title Services and Marcia Erdman - First American Title/Evans Title are also supporting Keller Williams in this community service effort.
