Investors Community Bank’s (ICB) Mark Binversie was appointed as an advisor for the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) board of directors. Binversie will serve a two-year term.

PDPW is a professional development organization for producers and dairy professionals from all areas of the nation and beyond. The organization’s membership includes people from 18 different states and a variety of different types and sizes of dairy operations. Committees are established to advise the board on important issues and create educational programs relevant to their business including public policy, industry action, producer meetings and business conferences.

“I look forward to the opportunity to assist the PDPW board of directors on issues relevant to dairy producers across the nation,” Binversie said. “I’m hoping my blend of experience as an ag banker and a former dairy farm owner will allow me to provide valuable input for members of PDPW and the dairy industry.”

Binversie serves as bank president and is one of ICB’s four founders. He also owned and operated a dairy farm for 15 years and has nearly 38 years of agricultural lending experience. He was involved with redesigning the Farm Service Agency’s Guaranteed Loan Program, assisting in the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority’s Credit Relief Outreach Program for Wisconsin farmers, and served as chairman of the Agriculture Bankers Section of the Wisconsin Bankers Association.
