Appleton resident Nathan Litt was named Young Professional of the Year by Pulse Young Professionals Network and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce during the 2017 Fox Cities Future 15 awards event held on March 2 at the Hortonville Opera House.
A Future 15 recipient in 2015, Litt was eligible to apply for the award through a formal application and selection process. The Fox Cities Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes a young professional each year who excels in his or her respective field, positively influences the quality of life in the Fox Cities and plays a role in attracting and retaining young talent to the area. Litt was chosen based on his dedication, strong sense of vision for the Fox Cities and commitment to volunteering and giving back to the community.
An active participant in the Fox Cities community, Litt serves on the boards of the Friends of the Appleton Fire Department and Creative Downtown Appleton, Inc. He is an alumni volunteer and serves as an advisor to his fraternity chapter at Lawrence University. Litt is the founder and coordinator of YAP—Young Appleton Professional, a social networking group with more than 560 members that meets monthly in Appleton. He is also a founding member of the Downtown Appleton Neighborhood Group.
Litt is the account director for Quill Creative, a brand development and advertising agency located in Oshkosh, where he oversees business development, client strategy and assists with internal operations. Prior to joining Quill Creative, Litt worked at Willems Marketing & Events as project director and also served as director of operations for the successful Mile of Music Festival in Appleton where he was a core team member involved with the launch of the festival in 2013. He is a 2008 graduate of Lawrence University.
