Dr. Shaheda Govani, owner of Govani Dental, was one of three Wisconsin dentists inducted into the American College of Dentists (ACD) at its national meeting in Denver, Colo.
Dr. Govani was the only female from Wisconsin accepted into ACD during its October 19 meeting. Only 3.5 percent of dentists nationwide are given this prestigious award.
“I’m honored to be chosen for this recognition,” Dr. Govani said. “It’s humbling to be inducted into the ACD along with such a distinguished group of dental professionals from around the nation.”
The ACD’s mission is to advance excellence, ethics, professionalism and leadership in dentistry. As an ACD member, Dr. Govani will continue to develop as a leader and strive for excellence in her profession.
