Business Breakfast Bytes, from the Fox Cities Chamber, Highlights Workplace Wellness in December

Published Tuesday, November 29, 2016

The Fox Cities Chamber’s newest educational program, Business Breakfast Bytes, will focus on workplace wellness at the December morning session. No business is too small to support a healthy workforce for their employees. This session will help small to mid-sized businesses understand wellness plan options for employers.

The Fox Cities Region has hundreds of thousands of people in the workforce supplying talent to all businesses ranging from small retailers to large factories. ThedaCare At Work, a division of ThedaCare, partners with Fox Cities employers to reduce health care expenses by improving employee health and productivity. ThedaCare’s ultimate goal is to maximize your investment in human capital because healthy employees are just good business.

Two presenters from ThedaCare at Work, Polly Elrod, Account Executive, and Stephanie Bellin, Employer Services Trainer, will provide best practices and educate attendees on the six dimensions of wellness. Attendees will leave with knowledge of tool kits, resources and implementable plans for their organization.

“The job market is tight and employers need to know best practices in keeping employees healthy and productive. There are many programs and resources available, but many businesses don’t realize the resources nor what types of support are available. It is our passion to help our local businesses protect their workforce and protect their business by providing a legally compliant, safe and healthy workplace,” shared Polly Elrod.

Business Breakfast Bytes are a monthly business educational program focused on providing small to mid-sized businesses across the Fox Cities Region with education and resources addressing top business concerns. Special Collaborative Membership Initiative: The December and January educational breakfasts are open to all the business development organizations and local chambers throughout our tri-county area.  If you are a member of any of those organizations, you are invited as a guest to experience Business Breakfast Bytes.
