Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction will bring its expertise to senior living providers across the country at the 2016 LeadingAge Annual Meeting & EXPO in Indianapolis October 30 – November 2. Randy Bremhorst, Hoffman owner and vice president of design, will be joined by Dennis Russell of MHS Consulting to present the session, “Governing Practices to Excel in Turbulent Times.”

Bremhorst and Russell’s presentation will focus on the importance of board alignment for senior care providers. They will explore the critical role the board plays in addressing the challenges facing senior living organizations and share approaches used in a variety of markets to create a culture of strategic thinking, studied risk-taking, and timely action.

“The governing board of any senior care provider plays a key role in directing the organization and positioning them for market success,” Bremhorst said. “It is critical that any board is in alignment and working toward a shared goal for the organization.” Bremhorst adds that it’s important for boards to stick to their beliefs, focus on results and embrace the “qualities of a continuous learning organization.”

Bremhorst has 30 years of experience in the design and construction profession, and has spent more than half of that partnering with senior living organizations and their boards on the planning, development, design and construction of their campuses and physical assets.

Hoffman’s planning, design and construction professionals have been collaborating with senior living organizations in Wisconsin and across the country for more than 30 years – touching more than 70 different projects – and earning national recognition for their work.
