U.S. Bank Foundation awarded The Building for Kids Children’s Museum (BFKCM) a $2,500 grant on Tuesday, October 18 for general operating funds at the museum.
“U.S. Bank has been a great partner, showing their dedication to families in the community through their actions,” said Jarrad Bittner, Executive Director of the BFKCM. “It is because of this generosity, and understanding the importance of donating general operating funds, that we are able to offer different programs and events. Without unrestricted donations we would not be able to serve the community at our current level.”
Through the U.S. Bank Foundation Community Possible platform, U.S. Bank invests time, resources and passion in economic development by supporting efforts to create stable jobs, better homes and vibrant communities. In 2015, the U.S. Bank Foundation provided $25.5 million in grant funding and matching gifts and dollars for doing contributions.
The BFKCM has been empowering children, engaging parents and energizing the community since 1992. For more information about the BFKCM, including its programs and events, visit www.buildingforkids.org.
