Volunteers Needed to Serve at Local Nonprofit Organizations on ďMake a Difference DayĒ and Beyond

The Volunteer Center of East Central Wisconsin is proud to announce local volunteer opportunities for Make a Difference Day, the largest national day of community service.

There are options to volunteer during the entire month of October, but most projects will occur on Saturday, October 22. There are even some opportunities where you can pick your own day/time to complete your volunteer activity. There are opportunities for families, individuals, business groups, and more. Hundreds of volunteers will be sought to complete much-needed projects with local nonprofit organizations. The Volunteer Center will continue to add projects to the event site as they become available. So far, the projects available are:

  • Volunteers Needed for Children’s Day at the Haunted House, Youth Go
  • Yard Work and Deep Cleaning of the house at Harbor House Domestic Abuse Programs
  • Fall yard clean up, Fox Valley Lutheran Homes
  • CHAIN Reaction (Communities Helping Adults in their Neighborhood), Outagamie County Volunteer Services
  • Painting & Cleaning, Saving Paws Animal Rescue
  • Mural/wall painting and yard work at Willow Heart Respite & Care Center
