The Appleton Housing Authority (AHA) is pleased to welcome Tina Truehart as its new Property Manager for its Oneida Heights affordable living complex located near downtown Appleton.
In her new role, Truehart is responsible for overseeing the management operations of the ten story highrise and its adjacient six unit building, which is home to 159 low-income seniors and disabled individuals. Her additional duties include application intake and referrals, eligibility and rent determinations, collection of tenant rents, marketing, monthly reports and other housing-related functions to effectively manage the complex.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Truehart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services Leadership. She brings two years of experience as a certified occupancy specialist, as well as many years of professional experience serving elderly individuals to her new position.
The AHA is the largest provider of affordable housing options in the Appleton area, serving over 900 families per month. The agency has operated rental housing, homeownership and family self-sufficiency programs along with other key housing-related programs in the Appleton community for over 49 years.
The AHA’s non-profit Neighborhood Housing, Inc. (NHI) organization is committed to affordable housing and the self-sufficiency of families, elderly, veterans and disabled individuals in the Fox Cities. NHI’s successful partnership with the Appleton Area School District (AASD), annually brings students from Appleton East, North and West High Schools together to build a new, affordable home for area families in need of an affordable residence.
