Independent Printing has won three awards in the Annual Gold Ink Awards competition including one bronze award and two pewter awards.
All three of Independent’s awards were earned in the Commercial Printing: Brochures, Sheetfed category. The bronze award was printed on behalf of Neenah Paper. The two pewter awards, or honorable mentions, were printed on behalf of Appvion.
“We are really pleased to be recognized in this way,” said Bill Ziemendorf, Independent Printing president and CEO. “Everyone at Independent is committed to producing the best pieces possible for our clients – from our sales staff to our service reps to our print shop employees. We all take great pride in the work we do because we know how important it is for our customers. While our customers are our ultimate judges of the work we do, it’s also great to be recognized by our peers in the industry.”
This year’s Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from nearly 800 entries submitted within 49 different categories. Presented by Printing Impressions magazine and sponsored by Canon, the Gold Ink Award winners are being showcased in the September issue of Printing Impressions. Winning pieces were chosen based on print quality, technical difficulty and overall visual effect. The pieces were judged by graphic artists, production managers and print buyers.
