Published Friday, September 2, 2016

To help local small businesses address concerns and identify solutions, the Fox Cities Chamber is unveiling its improved program, Small Business Workshops. The Workshops will provide small and mid-sized businesses (both members and non-members) across the Fox Cities Region with in-depth information from experts and empower attendees to leave with turnkey solutions and tools that can be used immediately within their business.

Each Small Business Workshop will be comprised of several sessions in order to cover the degree of information for each selected topic. The first Workshop, “Managing Your Business for Growth & Profit – The Numbers”, will be facilitated by Don Herrmann, President of Herrmann Advantage Consulting, LLC. This Workshop is intended for small businesses with 50 or fewer employees and will provide attendees with the tools to assess the current state of the numbers driving their business, including inventory, calculating value streams, pricing, budgets and profit.

“I would recommend small business owners who want to increase the efficiency of their business take this workshop and encourage their lead decision makers to attend as well.  Don is providing a valuable service by sharing tools and insights specific to small businesses that can help strategically increase their profits without necessarily increasing their prices,” shares Heather Warnecke, Director of Small Business Programming at the Fox Cities Chamber.

Registration is now open online for the first Small Business Workshop at and capacity is limited to 15 attendees. Session dates for the first workshop are scheduled for September 14th, 21st and 28th and will be hosted at Time Warner Cable in Appleton. This Workshop, comprised of a three-part series, will be repeated in October at a new location.
