Fox Valley Hematology & Oncology (FVHO), northeast Wisconsin’s cancer care specialists, in partnership with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), will host an informational meeting for the annual Light The Night Walk on Wednesday, Aug. 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
LLS is the world’s largest health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research. Its annual Light The Night Walk brings in nearly one million participants through more than 155 events throughout the United States. The Light The Night Walk brings hope and inspiration to blood cancer patients and their supporters through the symbolic lighting of lanterns to bring light to the darkness of cancer.
Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 6 p.m., located at FVHO’s Health and Wellness Center at 3925 N. Gateway Drive in Appleton, will include networking and information on fundraising for teams.
