Gustman to Host Blood Drive as Final Subaru Loves to Care Event

The Community Blood Center (CBC), in partnership with Gustman Subaru, will host a blood drive Saturday, July 2rd from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m at Gustman Subaru located at 310 South Lynndale Street in Appleton. The blood drive will be the final event in a month-long series of efforts supporting their Subaru Loves to Care initiative. 

"Gustman Subaru is proud to partner with The Community Blood Center,” declared Jeff Hoppa, General Sales Manager at Gustman Subaru. “This Blood Drive will be the final chapter of our June Subaru Loves to Care initiative, a partnership with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.” The Subaru Loves to Care initiative aims to increase awareness and support for people currently fighting blood diseases, plus advocates for research to find a cure and better treatment protocols.

This event is open to the public and all presenting donors will receive a Subaru goodie bag! Appointments are appreciated, however, walk-ins will also be accepted. Donors must meet specific eligibility criteria outlined by the FDA, accrediting organizations (such as AABB) and individual donation centers. To donate in Wisconsin, individuals must be at least 16 years old, in general good health and must meet weight and hemoglobin level requirements on donation day. Donors are encouraged to eat a regular meal and drink plenty of water prior to donation, and present a photo ID upon donation.
