Award Recipients Announced for 2016 Business Awards

The Fox Cities Chamber has announced the recipients for their annual Business Awards, recognizing businesses and organizations within the Fox Cities that help make it a vibrant, innovative and dynamic community. The awards will be presented at the 2016 Business Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, May 12th at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel. Business of the Year

This award recognizes businesses for outstanding performance, growing and/or increasing jobs, increasing sales, overcoming adversity and community contributions. This year’s recipients are:

Manufacturing Category – Amerequip

Wholesale/Retail Category– Good Company Restaurant Group

Service Category, Large Employer – Miron Construction

Service Category, Small Employer – Weidert Group

Company Innovation

This award acknowledges organizations that identify opportunities and execute creative-thinking and calculated risk-taking to bring innovation to the marketplace. This year’s recipients are:

 Large Employer – Crane Engineering

Small Employer – BConnected, LLC

Corporate Citizen or Corporate Leadership

This award recognizes organizations with a philosophy of giving and community involvement that have made significant differences in the health and well-being of the Fox Cities. This award encourages and supports corporate social responsibility and community leadership. This year’s recipients are:

Large Employer – SECURA Insurance

Small Employer – Old Glory Honor Flight

Exemplary Marketing and/or Performance

This award recognizes organizations that have taken risks around their marketing and promotional practices that have ultimately improved revenue, communication, customer relationships, market share or visibility. This year’s recipients are:

Large Employer – Tundraland

Small Employer – A-mazing Events

Rising Star

This award recognizes new “up and coming” small businesses with a unique blend of vision, energy, perseverance and skill. It is for ventures that have been in business less than five years, and has had a strong start with the potential for growing into a prosperous enterprise in the future. This year’s recipient is:

The Business Awards Luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 12th from 11:30AM – 1:30PM at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. Pricing is as follows: Member Individual Ticket $35.00; Member Table (10 Tickets) $300.00; General Individual Ticket $45.00; General Table (10 Tickets) $400.00.
