PACKERS MENTOR-PROTÉGÉ PROGRAM TO HOST TRAINING CAMP SESSION MARCH 23

Session to feature presentation on small business and law from Jason Wied

The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program is set to host its next training camp session March 23, at 8:30 a.m. in the Lambeau Field Atrium. The session features a presentation focusing on small business and law from Jason Wied.

Wied currently practices law as a partner at Menn Law, focusing on business and real estate transactions, municipal law, personal injury and sports management law. He previously worked as the Packers’ general counsel for 11 years, and vice president of administration for six years. Wied also has experience working at law firms that focus on civil litigation and business law. 

Following the presentation, the event will allow for question and answer opportunities, as well as time for networking and informal discussion.

The Packers Mentor-Protégé Program is currently in its sixth session, but those who are interested in the program and may apply in the future are encouraged to attend the event. The Packers Mentor-Protégé Program was established to pair emerging companies in northeastern Wisconsin with established, knowledgeable, and committed companies that can provide exposure, training, resources and experience. The program places an emphasis on minority- or woman-owned small businesses, as well as veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned and disabled persons-owned companies, but other companies are also considered. The program aims to foster relationships between area companies and business professionals in order to spark economic development and job creation. The Packers work with AFF Research, LLC, to administer the program.
