In her new role, Murphy will serve as the on-site resource person who helps connect Oneida Heights’ 153 low-income residents to the following: transportation services; affordable dental, audiology and eye care; medical and mental health providers; Medicare programs and assistance with premiums and service charges; Aging and Disability services; Social Security assistance; community health and wellness programs; social activities; computer and technology learning opportunities; in-home care options and housekeeping support; long-term care planning, financial and legal support; and assistance with benefits applications.

A well-rounded service professional and community advocate, Murphy brings more than 15 years of experience in the medical field and administrative expertise to the position.  Her education includes designations as a Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT) and as a Certified Recovery Coach (CRC). Murphy is also president of the nonprofit group Wisconsin United We C.A.N., and serves on the board of directors of the AHA’s nonprofit companion organization, Neighborhood Housing, Inc. (NHI).
