Ambassadors

The Ambassadors are a dedicated group of business volunteers that serve as the public relations arm for the Chamber.  They attend monthly Chamber events, ribbon cuttings, member events and contact members on a regular basis just to name a few.  The committee meets every other month at the Chamber office.  Contact Beth Haase at 920-734-7101 or bhaase@foxcitieschamber.com for more information.

Event Committees

All of the following event committees are coordinated by Kristen Greiner.  Brief descriptions of each event and the activities the committees engage in are listed below.  Contact Kristen at kgreiner@foxcitieschamber.com or 920-734-7101 for more information.

Business Awards Committee

Plans the annual Business Awards Luncheon event (held in May) including:

  • The awards and descriptions (if necessary)
  • The Call for Nominations and nomination process
  • Recruit judges for reviewing the nominations
  • Event logistics
  • Recommendations for marketing and promotion
  • The committee meets 2-3 times in planning the event

Business Expo Committee

The committee plans the annual Business Expo held in June:

  • Event logistics including the layout of the expo and booth prices
  • Recommendations for marketing and promotion
  • Develops a “Tool Box” of marketing materials for the exhibitors
  • The committee meets 3-5 times in planning the event and also volunteers the day of the Expo

Golf Outing

Plans the two annual golf outings, which are held in June and July:

  • Event location and logistics and all details associated for the day of the event
  • Recommendations for marketing and promotion
  • The committee meets 2-3 times in planning the event and also volunteers both days of the outings

The Event Celebrating Business

Plans the annual event (Chamber Annual Meeting) event (held in November) including:

  • The awards and descriptions (if necessary)
  • The Call for Nominations and nomination process
  • Recruit judges for reviewing the nominations
  • Event logistics
  • Recommendations for marketing and promotion
  • Recruit sponsorships
  • The committee meets 5-7 times in planning the event

YOUR Future 8th Grade Career Expo

This committee plans and recruits participating companies for the annual Career Expo, usually held in March or April.  Approximately 2,600 eighth graders from 15 schools will be inspired by professionals through conversation and hands on activity.  Contact Patty Milka at pmilka@foxcitieschamber.com or 920-734-7101 for more information.

Executive Leadership Fox Cities

Planning committee works with Chamber staff to recruit candidates, obtain sponsorships, design high level programming for executive management that have been newly recruited to the area and their spouse/guest.  Program is a condensed version of the traditional with six evening sessions over 3 months.  Committee meets several months before program begins and on an as needed basis.  Contact Amy Schanke at aschanke@foxcitieschamber.com or 920-734-7101 for more information.

Traditional Leadership Fox Cities

Steering committee works with Chamber staff to recruit candidates, design stellar agendas, invite guests to present, and obtain needed sponsorships for this adult community development leadership program.  Program is nine months long, with committee meetings monthly.  Contact Amy Schanke at aschanke@foxcitieschamber.com or 920-734-7101 for more information.

Government Issues Council

The Government Issues Council is a group of volunteers dedicated to improving Public Policy in the Fox Cities region.  They attend monthly meetings, and will engage their federal, state and local elected officials on a range of issues important to business leaders.  Contact Mark Rahmlow at 920-734-7101 or mrahmlow@foxcitieschamber.com for more information.

Pulse, Young Professional Network

This group of talented young professionals work to maintain and elevate the mission alignment of Pulse’s various initiatives, programs and events throughout the year.  Responsibilities are varying and cyclical, but often include event planning, membership retention and attraction, community outreach, the identification of influential local speakers, artists and musicians, program recommendations, ideation sessions and volunteer recruitment.  Contact Adrienne Palm at 920-734-7101 or apalm@foxcitieschamber.com for more information.
