The Fox Cities Alliance for Education is a division of the Chamber, formed with leaders of the business and the educational communities to further their mutual dedication to providing quality educational and training opportunities to individuals in a range of ages, all with the ultimate intention of securing a well-educated and skilled workforce.

Educators and business people alternately lead the Alliance Steering Committee, which provides direction for study, programming, and undertakings for the Chamber related to education.  Through their leadership, the Chamberšs educational programming has included a pioneering Youth Apprenticeship Program, creation of the Career Connection career exploration facility, Family Involvement in Childrenšs Learning program, the Employer Promise, Job Shadowing and the Gold Card Program.

Recent initiatives include a Job Mapping project in downtown Appleton, creation of the Community Learning Academy, and new programs under development for the summer of 2005.
