Membership Recognition

As a membership organization, the Fox Cities Chamber makes an effort each year to recognize the accomplishments of its members, to thank them for participating in and supporting the Chamber. We know that no matter how many recognition events we do, they will never be enough.

Whether it is the Small Business Awards, the Manufacturer of the Year recognition, the Athena Award presentation, or the annual Project Thank You blitz to call on each member firm, we understand the importance of honoring our members.

That is also why we devote so much space in Chamber publications to credit the volunteers who work on the Chamber's behalf in the membership campaign, on committees, on our Board of Directors, on task force assignments and special projects. Positive reinforcement makes people feel appreciated and prompt them to do even more, even better.

Small Business Awards
In conjunction with the national observance of Small Business Month in June, the Chamber announces its Small Business of the Year Awards recipients at a celebratory luncheon.

Awards are presented in the categories of Manufacturing, Service, and Wholesale/Retail. Companies must be at least five years old, a Chamber member in good standing, and provide documentation of accomplishments and quality initiatives to be nominated. Firms newer than five years in business which show early success and signs of entrepreneurship may be nominated for the Rising Star Award.
