Local leaders in quality and consumer driven healthcare participated in forum hosted by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and UnitedHealthcare on Wednesday, September 10 at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel.
Presenters and topics will include:
• John Toussaint, president of the ThedaCare Center for Healthcare Value, who spoke on "Creating a Healthcare Marketplace That Rewards Value: Is it Possible?"
• Dan Neufelder, president and CEO of Affinity Health System, who spoke on "Lean and Healthcare Expenses"
• Jay Fulkerson, regional market leader of UnitedHealthcare, who spoke on "The Insurer's Role in Creating a Value Driven Healthcare Market"

The Chamber recently announced it will offer a new healthcare collaborative in partnership with UnitedHealthcare to better serve larger firms in the New North region. Developed to address the needs of mid-sized firms, those with 50-plus employees, the session will outline trends in quality, LEAN, and cost containment. The Chamber already offers a variety of insurance and benefit plans to its members, including a long-standing arrangement that serves roughly 550 small businesses (2-50 employees).
